Lollapalooza has always had an amazing lineup. This year looks to be more of the same. However, they should change the name to “indiepalooza.”

Lollapalooza will be held August 4-6, at Grant Park in Chicago. Headlining will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West and Wilco.

2006 Lollapalooza will also feature Queens Of The Stone Age, the Shins, Death Cab For Cutie, Matisyahu, Common, Manu Chao, Ween and Jack White’s new band.

As if that isn’t enough, additional acts confirmed include Flaming Lips, New Pornographers, Sonic Youth, Jeremy Enigk, Thievery Corporation, Sleater-Kinney, Ryan Adams, Broken Social Scene, Secret Machines, Nickel Creek, Gnarls Barkley, Cursive, Stars, Calexico, Nada Surf, Lady Sovereign, Feist, the Frames, Sparta, Wolfmother and Eels.

I’ve heard three day passes are going for $45? Wow, that seems pretty affordable for Lollapalooza! Tickets are on sale now. See you there!!
