 Mike Patton is one of the most talented and unique artists in music…ever. He is a rock god. I realized that when he was doing a cover of Angel of Death with Fantomas or maybe it was the Stroke with Mr. Bungle, or was it the first time I heard King for a Day? Peeping Tom is coming to First Avenue next week and I of course did not get a ticket and now it’s sold out. Can you say, loser? But anyway, I was thinking…wouldn’t it be cool if Mike Patton had a blog? Just him talking about the guys he works with, being on the road, creating a million projects, etc. I think it’d be interesting as hell. I was also thinking how cool would it be if he toured as the “Mike Patton Traveling Fun Show” or the “Mike Patton All Star Band” something like that. He could have the Melvins guys, Tomahawk, and Mr. Bungle guys tour with him. Plus throw in a few FNM guys and a few turntable guys, maybe Buckethead, etc. They could all tour together. Kinda like the melvinsfantomasbigband but one step further. Then Patton could sing on every song and they could switch between Peeping Tom, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, FNM, Tomahawk, etc. How cool would that be? Anyway, now I’m rambling.
