I listened to it once. I liked it. Very much a departure from the last few “basement” efforts. Sounds very produced and very much created for a movie. In my eyes Paul Westerberg can do no wrong. I’m anxious to give this one a few more spins to see if it’s something I’ll listen to regularly. It’s not like the Singles soundtrack he did a while back. This bad boy like 8 Westerberg tracks. Plus I heard some Tommy on backup in there too. If you are a Replacements fan, or a Westerberg fan, or even a Shrek fan, check out the soundtrack for Open Season.
