Tickets for the 2006 Pitchfork Music Festival are on sale now through Ticketweb . The Pitchfork Music Festival will be in Chicago at Union Park July 29-30.

What is Pitchfork Music Festival? Well, it looks like they will have 36 live bands. They are boasting $20 one-day passes, and two day passes for just $30. Plus bands like:

Mission of Burma
Ted Leo/Pharmacists
Mountain Goats
The National
Jens Lekman
Hot Machines

Plus 30 more…

Thirty six bands for thirty bucks. That’s less than a buck a band! I’d pay the thirty bucks just to see Mission of Burma.
